Fun at the Royals game!

We went to a few games last year. We took Cale to one and realized that he wasn't quite ready. Last summer, he did not like to sit still. He needed to get up and explore everything. Aidan loved it last year and went several times with us and a few times with the Sampsell family.

We were hoping Cale would enjoy it more this year and he did. It was a 1:10 game, which is right around naptime, so he was a little fussy at first. After a short catnap, he was ready to check everything out. Aidan, of course, still loves it and impressed Drew and I both with his knowledge of the sport and the players. He really is a baseball fanatic! Hopefully we'll get the chance to take the boys again sometime this summer.

Here are a few pictures from our day at the K!
Excited to be at the game!

So maybe it was a combination of nap AND ice cream that put him in a better mood!

Aidan tried so hard to get on the big screen. I don't even think they have cameras up where we were sitting!

Cale's photography... Kind of scary--Drew's head on Aidan's body!

Not the best picture ever (um... hello, tired mommy!) but love how Cale pulls my face to his

Cale was hiding behind "his" lions (One is actually Aidan's)

Slugger moves quick and my camera was zoomed in. I didn't have time to get Cale in the picture.

He wasn't really much of a fan though.
"What is that thing, Mom?"

Playing in the news kids area--Goofball had his tongue out the whole time

"I found you, Mommy!"

He love the slides. (It's kind of hard to see, but his tongue is out in all 3 pictures!)
