Over the weekend, we replaced our sidewalk. (When I say we, I actually mean my dad, Graham, and Drew.) The grass got pretty torn up, so my dad brought some dirt over and put down grass seeds and then some straw over it. Apparently by putting the straw down, we became very popular with the birds.
We drove up yesterday and there were 5 or 6 birds hanging out on the straw. I said "Aidan, look at the birds!" I guess he thought I was upset about them because he replied with "Mom, I think it's okay. We really have enough to share!"
