Impatient eater

I have decided that Cale's love of frozen veggies has a lot to do with the fact that he is so impatient. He loves cooked veggies and eats them up when we have them for dinner, but he just doesn't have the time to wait for them to cook when he needs a snack right then. We discovered that this also applies to oatmeal as well.

He wanted a bowl but once we added the water, he refused to let me put it in the microwave. I figured it wouldn't hurt him, so I didn't push the issue. He sat and ate his oatmeal packet and water while Aidan cooked his in the microwave. When Aidan added milk to his oatmeal, Cale insisted he have some too. So he was sitting there, eating milk, water and oatmeal--not cooked or warmed up at all.

Sounds disgusting to me, but he ate most of it!
